LIONSGATE ACADEMY ENROLLMENT POLICY
All applications that we receive from now through February 28, 2010 for students to enter in the fall of 2010 will go into a lottery that will be held in early March. Students will be accepted into grades as space allows, and those who do not get admitted will be put on a numbered wait list. Both groups will be notified by letter of their status.
Students who apply after February 28, 2010 will be placed on a wait list on a first-come first-serve basis and will be notified by letter in early May of their status. There is a strong possibility that many students on the wait list will be admitted because of the attrition factor before school starts.
All students who enter Lionsgate Academy will be enrolled through graduation, and their siblings will have preference on the wait list should they want to enroll. The wait list does not carry over from year to year, and students not gaining entry this year need to reapply next year.
Submitting an application to Lionsgate will not take your student out of their current school until all of the enrollment paperwork is completed, nor will your current school be notified in any way.
We will have Information Meetings scheduled on the following dates to learn more about the Lionsgate Academy program. The meetings last about an hour and a half and please arrive on time as there will be a presentation.
